Hacienda Classical is the first headliner announced forHOPE & GLORYin Liverpool this summer, as the FAC 51 Hacienda club bringsan incredible concert featuring classical reworkings of classic club anthems.

DJs who played at the famous Manchester club, including Mike Pickering and Graeme Park, will play the inaugural HOPE & GLORY festival with the 65-piece orchestra,Manchester Camerata.

Special guests Shaun Ryder and Bez from Happy Mondays, as well as other to-be-announced guests, will join Hacienda Classical on stage as they perform track after iconic track.

The ‘Hacienda Classical’ concerts are overseen by ex-New Order and Joy Division bassist Peter Hook. Hook used to run the Hacienda with former New Order bandmates.

Following one of theirprevious outstanding performances, it was said to Hook: “You’ve just managed to hold an outdoor rave.”

Hook responded: “I hadn’t thought of it like that, but that’s a perfect description. The idea is mad as a box of frogs, but it works.”
