Instrumentalist band Public Service Broadcasting initially consisted solely of Willgoose releasing an EP in 2009 and having teamed up with drummer Wrigglesworth, on drums began on second EP, The War Room, released in May 2012.
Albums Inform-Educate-Entertain and The Race For Space have seen the band develop into as much a visual as an audio spectacular having developed a close relationship with the British Film Institute and using their material during live shows.
The band take samples fromold public information films, archive footage and propaganda material, attempting (with tongue firmly in cheek) to ‘teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future’.
Live shows are augmented by visuals expert, player Mr. B and JF Abraham, who also features on The Race for Space, on bass guitar and flugelhorn. A certain spectacular at HOPE & GLORY.
